To Register - or not to register...

The size we wanted was not available at 3 different stores, so we purchased this product to hold us over until we can purchase one. Registering the warranty was not good. The directions enclosed with the product states to go to geapplianes.com/registration. In doing this, it defaults to "Canadian Residents Registration". We purchased the product in Naples, FL. Virtual was not available - to speak with a human on where I could register in USA. I called the 800-626-2005 and the recording states to go to geappliances.com. I did, routed to same Canadian registration. I just registered and hope that someone will contact me to ensure that it is registered. Website, virtual or phone not user friendly to obtain actual answers. Product, it was installed yesterday afternoon so I can't comment - but I have GE products at my home so I know it's reputable.

I like this frig. It could be a bit bigger withbetter options for storage. Also it seems to need defrosting fairly often.wish I could do it without unplugging Concerning........all the big warnings about possible explosion risks. Do big frogs have the same warning. Scary. Next time will get a big frig unless this changes.

Oh man! What a great little fridge! It was really easy to switch the door over so it can open from the opposite side (and it didn't bother the seal). Glad i looked over the user manual and how to keep the condensation out. Honestly it's not loud and puts off almost no heat. The only thing I can say is, they suggest above MED temp, but if it's kinda full and you open it more than 5 times a day.. I'd make it a bit higher.

I consolidated my basement bar space by removing the ice maker and the full sized refrigerator and using this instead. I have room for ice trays, frozen yogurt bars, a pitcher of water, a jar of pickles, two bottles of wine, eight cans in the door, and room for about a dozen more cans give or take. It's all right there under the bar where I want it. I couldn't be happier with this little fridge.

I love everything about this refrigerator except it doesn't even keep drinks cold on the coldest setting much less butter, produce or eggs. I love that the freezer holds a 7 lb bag of ice and the ice stays frozen but when filling ice cube trays with water they won't freeze. I bought a fridge/freezer thermometer and the refrigerator reads 48 degrees and the freezer reads 20 degrees. Not cold enough!

Door side problem.

I bought it from Costco last March 2022 for office. The size is good for an office, but I found a serious defect in the door. I can't put a regular size soda can as picture. It just goes in from below. Only small cans are accepted. I guess is that the frame is upside down. The frame of the medium-sized GE model refrigerator is upside down with the frame of the refrigerator. Whoever designed it so can't put in soda on the refrigerator door is stupid. And after 3 months, a little frost occurred in the freezer.

Fridge works great, but the built in soda can dispenser is impossible. When you put all the cans in, they cannot be easily removed. I think they never tried it out after they designed it.

Dual Compressor and Separate Freezer!

After much research, we decided on this GE compact refrigerator with a separate freezer. The bonus was that its compressor is highly rated. It came quickly, in perfect condition, and ready to go. I ordered this frig for under a counter in my barn tack room. I especially liked the separate freezer compartment with its own door. The refrigerator looks great and is the perfect size for under my countertop. The freezer is surprisingly large. My only complaint is that the plastic cover over the door hinge was broken in shipping. Since the countertop covers it I am not worried about it. I haven't owned the frig long enough to comment on its performance, however, as soon as I plugged it in it started cooling. Great compact frig for the money!
