This is a new dishwasher that was installed in the apartment where I live. It appears cheaply made and the door creaks loudly when opening it. The silverware basket is too small and the dish racks could be improved. The lower rack consistently falls off the track when rolling it out to load or pushing it back in. The control panel could be much better. It is quiet which is the only positive thing about it. This model definitely would not be my choice.

This dish washer works well but is very flimsy the bottom rack never stays on track. You have to wrestle with it to rool back into the tub. The rollers fall off easily. This machine needs some sturdier material.

I have had better "feeling" dishwashers at this price point, but, apparently times have changed. When I open the door on this thing it just feels flimsy, thin, cheap plastic, feels like I can break the door, other than that, it has 3 cleaning cycles, it does the job well as far as I am concerned, it's all I need, just wish the door "felt" better, but this does not effect functionality. It does clean well as long as you follow "dishwasher rules" and the owners manual, install is simple.

Like most reviewers, this machine does feel cheaply made. I came here to find the manual because my apartment installed this unit a few days ago. It had ran fine the first but second time we ran it, everything was still soaking wet. Looks like the 1 hour is just a rinse cycle so there is no soap dispensed or drying function. So I ran the machine again in Normal and waited for the Clean light to come one. Dishes came out clean and dry. Moral of the story, read the manual. Lol. This unit replaced a much sturdier but older dishwasher that we used for 12 years. It cleans just fine. Eventhough it's quite basic with no separate buttons for steaming or drying, it just means it will use less energy and I will air dry the items more often. Not a deal breaker. Just happy to have a functional dishwasher!

Dishwasher makes very noticeable intermittent buzzing sounds during wash cycles. Panel on dishwasher makes a loud noise due to door panel vibrating off and on during the wash cycles. Dishwasher motor makes an irritating humming noise. The interior sides and the back of the door remain dripping wet at the end of the normal dry cycle. The dishes are dry but the dishwasher has be left open for several hours to dry after the dishes are remove. The dishwasher does clean well but the items mentioned cause it to be an undesirable product for the kitchen.

Good basic dishwasher. I've installed many dishwashers but if this is your first time doing it yourself be advised it does not come with wire nuts to join the power wires together. It does not come with the conventional power cord to plugs into an outlet that you can salvage off the unit you're replacing or just by a new one. It does not come with an insulating blanket to dampen the noise though it's not needed. It does not come with a drain hose clamp to hold it on to the garage disposal. The bottom dish rack does not move smoothly in and out it kind of goes off the track a little bit but for the price I can live with that. The mountain bracket that hold the dishwasher to the underside of the cabinet do not come with wood screws. All of these are not negative since some dishwashers come with the hardware and some do not. it comes with a small starter bottle of rinse aid and some dishwasher pods. And a few coupons to help you get interested in buying the product again. The drain hose is on the left side of the dishwasher and it is long enough to reach around to make it to the garbage disposal if it's on the right side of the machine. Of course the drain hose is included on the side of the dishwasher.

Really like the sleek design, EZ control panel and the interior color of the machine. REALLY DON'T LIKE...FLIMSY DOOR. If you do not grab the door EXACTLY in the center when closing, the door flex is ridiculous. The way the door twists from side to side when closing (or opening for that matter) leads me to fear damaging the integrity of the seal and opening up the potential of leaking around the door seal.

Are old dishwasher finally bit the dust and our apartment complex replace it with this model! So far we've been extremely happy with it, it does a great job cleaning the dishes and with the rinse aid they come out looking shiny and clean! It's fairly quiet and conserves water pretty well!

This dishwasher couldn't possibly be a worse design. There is no vent on the unit, making it impossible to have dry dishes. The sprayers are so low that you can't wash tongs or chili pots, and they won't even touch the dishes on the outer sides of the rack. There is no designated pre-wash fill slot and no option for high heat or heated dry. The build quality is garbage, the only part that feels OK is the seal in the door, which is ironic because it already does so well at keeping the dishes wet. The cycles are so long, too. The heavy cycle takes 4 hours and doesn't even remove all the residue from your dishes. This product should be avoided.

Just got this basic GE dishwasher. Gave it 4 stars for its lack of options. It has a normal heavy, and 1 hour timer, that's it. No rinse only, china cycles or other delay timer options. What I do like is that it gets very hot and actually dries the dishes. Big plus it also leaves the dishes very clean. I also love that the top rack is slightly inclined so the cups get a better wash and dry. Love the material and color of the racks as well. Not too impressed with the rack rollers.. don't look too resilient but we'll see in time.

Rather disappointed in fact. Inside cabinet remains damp for days. But note that at least the dishes and table ware are dry. We place a towel in the door to allow air to circulate and dry the inside. The man that GE sent to us however was a man who knew his stuff. Much appreciation. He took the time to explain some details of our unit that will help us to work with the unit.

This is a low price dishwasher, so it's a very plain unit. If you're looking for a lot of features in a dishwasher, you will be disappointed. If you're okay with a "plain jane" unit that gets the dishes clean, this is a great one to look at.

One star because it cleaned the dishes. However, the craftsmanship and quality of this machine is terrible. The door moves side to side when open/closing and one side needs to be forcibly pushed in for a flush closure. The bottom rack is a mess, it NEVER stays on the "track" regardless if the rack is full of dishes or completely empty. The door feels very hollow and plastic plus cheap. The silverware holder is small and just sits on/in the bottom rack, unsecured-likely part of the issue of the rack coming off the rails every time its pulled out. This is also a small unit. It looks like a standard size, but inside is very small and with our family of 4, we will have to run this unit at minimum once a day. GE used to offer quality appliances, but for this price don't walk, RUN away to buy something else.
