I switched from a GE glass top electric stove to this natural gas stove. I™€™m doing more cooking lately and didn™€™t really like cooking on the glass top GE Profile I replaced. So far I™€™m really liking the new range. Nice to have burners with a flame and they work great with my cast iron cookware. The air fryer has been a nice handy thing to have and the oven seems to bake well. I haven™€™t tried the crisping feature yet bit look forward to doing so. So far I™€™ve only made brownies and cornbread, but the oven worked great for that. The knob set up is nice and easy to use. I use convection almost all the time as I think it cooks more thoroughly. The oven preheats quickly and that™€™s a plus. Only complaint I have is the storage drawer doesn™€™t seem sturdy or all that durable. I love the natural black mat finish. I™€™m very tired of stainless steel, which is what I have on my dishwasher and refrigerator. Definitely going to switch those to matte black at some point.

I've been using the oven for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love it. I have tried all the features as I do a lot of different types of cooking. It pre heats super fast and maintains temperature very precise. The air fryer is a nice feature and works really well. The different size burners are nice and boil water really quick. I have also done pancakes on the griddle with nice results. I would definitely recommend this oven to anyone looking for a lot of features at a decent price. Oh and although I didn't think the wifi was necessary I have used it to start a pre heat from the comfort of my recliner, lol.

Burners are too hot

I had a GE oven for over 20 years and loved it. I bought this one and I hate it. I've had it about 6 months and had the repairman here 3 times until they finally figure out the caps on the 2 front burners were warped creating a big yellow flame which was staining my pans. But even after this the 2 front higher burners are so intense you can only use them on about 3 or you'll burn your food. Most of the flame output is from 1 to 4 with the rest being useless. Also my old oven maintained a PERFECT temperature, this one I have to check after about 15 minutes and adjust accordingly because it varies each time you use it. Can't believe if they test these units before starting to mass producing them they don't realize these issues. I have a neighbor that has a similar unit which they replaced once and has the same problems. Also the broiler is not intense enough in my opinion and didn't realize it had an electric element for broiling also. Overall I would have to give 2nd thoughts about buying a GE product.

Major Problem. Factory supplies Range without LP Propane Ready. It was established at store Not Natural Gas. LP Propane Only. This is actually the standard in todays world. The installer sent to deliver Range; one man ; had to disassemble the entire Range to hookup LP compatibility. The whole process took him 3 hours. Now I don't consider this Unit New. It's been totally apart in my home. There is also a chip on front of stove above the control panel which has to touched up with a paint I have to supply. We opted not to replace unit because of the hardship of getting this Unit (Range) I went without a working stove in my home for over 4 weeks.

Loving my new slide-in gas range-great features

Replaced my 24 year old gas range which was a slide-in and black in color which this model offered. My old range still worked but the oven temp was not consistent and the burners, I would have to use a torch to light. Instead of paying for a repair on a 24 year old range I found this range at a nice price. Having now had the range for a few weeks, I am so glad that I bought a new range. I needed to make sure this would fit and GE guaranteed the fit (which I did not need to use the fit offer for this range fit just fine). The range comes with a removable spacer in the back which my old range did not have, instead I have a strip of my countertop behind. Range fits just fine and maybe sticks out no more than 1 inch than the old one. Also hard to find a black color range to match my other appliances but this one matches my black and black stainless appliances. Reading the reviews I was concerned about the quality but I find this range to be very well made and love the features that my old range did not have. The cooktop is great with flat grates, the center grill area plus is all sealed and easy to clean. Controls are easy to use. I liked that this model has an air fry option along with a no preheat pizza option. I bought an air fry tray to use but have not used it yet. Oven is a nice size with 2 shelves and the lower storage draw holds my skillets same as my old range. The removable bottom tray is great. I like that this model has a steam clean mode. Clock and timers are easy to use and the griddle works great. I use an oven thermometer and found that I needed to adjust my oven temp down a few degrees which was an option. This range has the WIFI option which was easy to setup on my phone. I did not receive any operating instructions but when I registered online and set up my account I was able to download the user manual and was able to find out how to adjust the oven temp and info on the other features. This range was on sale and was a much better price point than most of the other brands that had black slide-in gas ranges. I did opt for an extended warranty since I feel that appliances today are not built to last like they use to. Highly recommend this range for the features you get for the price.

Range works very well. In just the few days we have had it we have used the burners and the oven several times. if there were to be an issue, it would be that the delivery guys took the owners manual with them and i have no idea how the convection function works. I believe we can figure out the Air Fryer function as we have an air fryer already. Over all we are very pleased with this range.

The oven came with the manufacturer™€˜s defect, where a stray screw was left in the machine and managed to cause an electrical fire in the oven. After calling Home Depot, where I purchased the item from & five other numbers, we were able to schedule a technician to repair the oven, but they have rescheduled our service twice. When I requested that our service call be escalated, they claimed that someone will be repairing our oven within the next 10 days and we will receive a $50 gift card for the inconvenience. The surface space is great and I™€™m excited about the oval center burner and grill pan.

Sleek Black Slate Range

Love the look of the Black Slate Range which we purchased to match our GE Cafe Refrigerator and dishwasher. It has a lot of nice features, easy to use keypad, plus an air fry option. The burners are very powerful. One thing I do NOT like is the cast iron griddle in the center, instead of a traditional grate which I had to PURCHASE separately. The big box store would charge a delivery fee for the grate! But happily, GE has FREE shipping! In my opinion, all ranges should come with the necessary cooking grates, and the griddle should be optional. I was looking forward to being able to slide my cookware across the stove top from one burner to another, but this cannot be done with the griddle blocking the way. We tried the griddle with a piece of ham. It left an unattractive mark even after it was cleaned and then the griddle rusted as it dried in the sink. We had to oil it to put it back on the range. If you wipe it with a paper towel, it will leave fuzz everywhere. It is very rough and difficult to keep clean. This griddle is the last thing I would want to see on my cook top and I see no use for it. I can only imagine the grease splattering under all the other burners. Unfortunately, this detracts from the range, which would be awesome if it came with a grate instead of a griddle.

Haven™€™t used it much, but I like it so far. Only negative is I have to find stove gap fillers to place between the stove and counter top. My last GE stove didn™€™t need them.
